"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" will feature an exciting game mode to amp up the players' multiplayer experience.
As Sledgehammer Games confirmed during the CoD: Next event last Thursday, Oct. 5, "Cutthroat" is the latest feature that will allow gamers to square off in a 3v3v3 combat.
Introducing Cutthroat in 'CoDM: Modern Warfare 3'
Many players are hoping to see a brand-new rumble match that will allow them to fight multiple players at once. If WWE had a triple-threat tag team match, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" would have "Cutthroat," an upcoming mode designed to bring intensity through 3v3v3 multiplayer action.
According to TechRadar, what sets Cutthroat apart is the implementation of a high-stakes gameplay mechanic - each Operator has just one life per round. Players must strategize and act swiftly as the primary objective is to eliminate rival teams or secure the overtime flag to claim victory in the round.
Modern Warfare 3's Expansive Multiplayer Universe
"Modern Warfare 3" is set to provide a diverse and engaging multiplayer experience with a total of 12 game modes at launch. Players can explore 20 playable maps, including 16 from the iconic Modern Warfare 2 (2009), and an additional 12 all-new 6v6 core maps will be introduced post-launch.

Ground War and War Mode as Returning Favorites
Fans of this first-person shooter will be thrilled to learn that Ground War, a large-scale multiplayer mode, is making its triumphant return. This mode promises epic battles with linear engagements, engaging battle progression, and mission objectives within the environment.
Additionally, War Mode, originally featured in Call of Duty: WWII, is making a comeback, offering intense gameplay with a focus on objectives and teamwork.
Ranked Multiplayer in Season One
Aside from the most awaited Cutthroat, Sledgehammer Games will also bring the ranked multiplayer gameplay for Season One. This is made possible with Treyarch which is responsible for introducing a more modern competitive system that will help players climb through the ladder based on their skills.
When is 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3' Coming?
"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" is just around the corner since it's slated to launch on Nov. 10. Upon its release, you can play it on different consoles such as Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC.
As early as now, you can feel the heat of the game with its open beta. However, this is only open for those who have pre-ordered "CoDMW 3." The open beta starts on Oct. 6.
