New SiriusXM App

The new SiriusXM app boasts an array of features designed to enhance the user experience. It emphasizes personalization and curation, with distinct sections dedicated to Music, Talk & Podcasts, Sports, and a personalized "For You" landing page tailored to each individual listener.

This ensures that users are met with content that aligns with their preferences. Even during playback, if listeners approach their skip limits, the app will offer alternative recommendations, allowing for a seamless transition to content more suited to their mood.

Furthermore, the app facilitates enhanced content discovery. It introduces new pages dedicated to teams, shows, channels, and artists, allowing users to delve deeper into their areas of interest. The media player has also undergone a revamp and is now optimized for various content types.

It incorporates new audio segments enabling listeners to navigate to key moments, along with features like transcription and speed control for podcasts and on-demand talk content.

The search capabilities have also been upgraded, making it simpler for users to locate specific content or individuals. A new search home page provides curated recommendations for users looking to broaden their listening horizons.

The podcasting experience has also been improved with an expanded library and features like key moment markers. The app introduces a centralized audio library, enabling users to save their preferred content, from live channels to on-demand and podcasts, artists, bands, and sports teams, all conveniently located in one place.

Additionally, offline listening and download capabilities have been incorporated. For new subscribers, an interactive onboarding process has been established.

That invites users to personalize their SiriusXM experience from the outset by selecting their preferred artists, genres, personalities, leagues, and topics. They can then explore tailored channel recommendations with a simple swipe.

Additionally, notable figures like John Mayer, James Corden, and Dolly Parton are set to feature in exclusive shows, providing unique insights into their lives and careers.

The expansion also includes channels dedicated to specific music genres from the 2000s, paying homage to the era's R&B, Hip-Hop, and alternative rock hits.

With the new app set to be launched on December 14, SiriusXM will introduce guest DJ channel takeovers by over 160 top artists and bands, allowing listeners to experience curated music selections from their favorite stars.
