This came from a renowned leaker of SEGA, claiming that the recent announcement of the company's revival of renowned games and franchises will come to the Switch 2.
Switch 2 rumors are massive today, centering on a claim that Nintendo will release the console this 2024, with many game developers already creating games for it.

According to a renowned and trusted leaker behind SEGA's developments, the games the company announced in December 2023's The Games Award are coming to the "next Nintendo hardware." This pertains to the widely popular Switch 2, the unofficial name it has been dubbed by the world, with SEGA part of another set of leaks behind the games it will release with the new console.
Last year's TGA saw SEGA dropping massive announcements that it is recreating its famed titles and offering a modern experience for it.
This brings a revamp to its most-famed titles including Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi, Shinoby, Streets of Rage, and Golden Axe.
The latest showcase of SEGA teased the developments of its classic franchises and titles, one that would fit the modern screens and systems better than before. This will bring improvements to its titles, and not a retro port of the original titles like previous SEGA experiences.
However, the leak claimed that it would come in two to three years, by 2026 or 2027, something that goes alongside others' expectation that Nintendo would bring the Switch 2 in the following years, but not this 2024.

The Nintendo Switch is long overdue for its update and changes, with many leakers and speculators now claiming massive information behind the next-gen console of the company.
Many leakers are sure about the 2024 release of the console, saying that it will be released this September 24, 2024, offering the latest of what Nintendo aims to bring for its handheld.
In other rumors, it was said that this release would bring two versions of the Nintendo Switch 2, but there is still conflicting information regarding this. First off, the Switch 2 will bring AR features in one version, but others claim that this two-variant release would feature either a physical cartridge-compatible console or a digital-only version like the PlayStation and Xbox.
Moreover, there are already several titles speculated to arrive for the Switch 2, with SEGA among those who are frequently leaked to already be working on these new titles.
In this latest claim, Nintendo Switch 2 will get the five SEGA games that were unveiled during the Japanese company's showcase last December in The Game Awards, alongside other titles for the upcoming console.
