Rihanna's appearance at a lavish pre-wedding event of an Indian billionaire sparked a tech showdown. X user @Joh_Masse, who recorded the pop superstar's awesome performance, has accused Samsung of spreading disinformation about the video's origin.

The son of India's business magnate Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani, 28, and Radhika Merchant, 29, will marry in July, capturing the nation's attention.

According to LAD Bible, after the celebration, Joh_Masse tweeted on March 2, 2024, that Samsung's official X (Twitter) account claimed credit for the Rihanna billionaire wedding performance video, which upset the post-party vibe. In a straightforward retort to Samsung's claim, Joh_Masse stated, "You think I'm lying about a f**kn video? Here is the proof, so leave me alone."

Adding clarity to the debate, Joh_Masse emphatically declared, "I TOOK THE VID WITH AN IPHONE." Despite this firm assertion, doubts lingered among viewers, setting off a widespread debate comparing the capabilities of iPhones and Samsung Galaxy models.

Samsung Galaxy v. iPhone Rivalry Triggered

The controversy revolves around smartphone footage showcasing an impressive zoom-in feature during Rihanna's rendition of 'All of the Lights.' As viewers scrutinized the crispness of the video, discussions on platforms like YouTube delved into a comparative analysis between Samsung's Galaxy S23 Ultra and the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Some skeptics even challenged the credibility of the videographer's claim, arguing that the observed sharpness surpassed what could be achieved with an iPhone, including the latest 14 Pro.

A unique perspective emerged, suggesting that assumptions about the smartphone's brand gained popularity due to its prevalent use of zoom capabilities, leading people to automatically associate it with a Galaxy Ultra.

As the debate rages on, the owner of the Rihanna video continues to assert its iPhone origin, urging corrective action on Samsung's part.

Who is Mukesh Ambani?

Switching gears from the tech drama, the focus returns to the Ambani family, renowned for their economic and political influence on the Indian economic scene. The family's patriarch, Mukesh Ambani, 66, is the 10th wealthiest person in the world with $115 billion. Ambani controls Telecoms, Retail, Petrochemicals, and Oil and Gas at Reliance Industries, a massive conglomerate, according to AP News.

Recent milestones include sparking a telecom revolution with the launch of Jio in 2016, resulting in over 420 million subscribers, and a $8.5 billion deal with Disney to merge its India business with Reliance Industries.

However, Ambani's success has not been immune to controversy, with critics attributing his empire's growth to political connections, labeling it "crony capitalism."

As Ambani gradually passes the torch to the next generation, with Akash Ambani overseeing Reliance Jio and Isha Ambani managing the retail sector, the youngest scion, Anant, set to wed in July, has been inducted into the new energy business, ensuring the legacy of the Ambani family endures.

According to reports, the wedding's guest list, made up of A-listers and celebrities, includes tech tycoons Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg.
