If you've been looking for a great deal on an Xbox One console, now may be the time to act. The console is available now in limited quantities for just $299.

In the battle of the high end game consoles, Xbox One beat out PS4 for both November and December during the 2014 holiday season. The Xbox sales victory was in no small part due to aggressive pricing by Microsoft, which offered special holiday bundled pricing on the console plus two top tier games, Assassin's Creed Unity and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The bundle was priced at $349, which was a good deal for the console including the games.

By Black Friday most of the top retailers had additional discounts on the bundle, usually in the form of gift cards, most of which were valued at $50. Target actually discounted the bundle an additional $20, taking the price down to $329 and offering a $50 gift card on top of that. While that was probably the best deal for the rest of the holiday season, holiday shoppers were treated to numerous sales and discounts.

When New Year's came around, Microsoft ended the promotion briefly and brought the bundle price back up to $399, but reconsidered and soon dropped it back to $349 less than two weeks later. Since then the best deal we've seen on these bundles was a recent one from Groupon, which offered it for $314 with a coupon code which has since expired.

Interestingly, things have been very quiet as far as deals on the unbundled console, that is, without any games included. The retail price has remained $349, and no major sales or deals have been offered until now. Now, for a limited time, at ShopRiteDelivers, you can snag a brand new Xbox One Console for just $299. Shipping is a low flat rate $5.99, and tax is only charged in those states in which Shop Rite actually operates retail stores, which include New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, California, and Pennsylvania. If you're looking to get in on this deal, act fast though, because only a limited quantity is available.
