A gamut of new Android-powered smartphones may be trying to claim their stakes in the market, but that is not deterring Motorola from aggressively marketing its old war horse Moto X Pure Edition.

Motorola is offering customers a $250 discount if they purchase the 2014-released Moto X Pure Edition along with the Tracks Air Bluetooth Headphones bundle by SOL Republic.

"Here's a deal that's music to your ears. Bundle an off-contract Moto X and TRACKS AIR by SOL REPUBLIC x Motorola headphones from just $449.94. Just add both to cart. Sound good? Hurry, it only lasts until March 10 at 10:59 a.m. CT," notes Motorola.

Normally, an off-contract Moto X Pure Edition in 16 GB, which can be customized with the MotoMaker, retails at $499.99. The Tracks Air Bluetooth Headphones also cost a pretty penny and retail at $199.95.

The current Motorola deal is a steal because you can snag both the Moto X Pure Edition smartphone and the TRACKS AIR Bluetooth Headphones for just $449.94. Another way of perceiving things is that you save $50 on the Moto X Pure Edition smartphone and the headphones, normally worth $200, are thrown in for free!

To refresh your memory, the Moto X sports a 5.2-inch AMOLED display. Under the hood, it houses a powerful Snapdragon 801 processor, which is clocked at 2.5 GHz. The smartphone has 2 GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera.

The Motorola offer is for a limited period and expires on March 10. The offer can be availed from Motorola's online store.

The Moto X can be purchased along with the SOL Republic Tracks Air Bluetooth headphones for $449.94 online only. One simply needs to add the products to their cart and the discount is automatically applied at time of checkout.
