Respawn Entertainment was quick to fix several server issues that cropped up with the launch of its hugely anticipated game, Titanfall, this morning.

The game went on sale for Xbox One and PC gamers at midnight on March 11, but almost immediately began suffering from several server issues for PC users. Comments quickly popped up on the developer's launch website, Facebook and Twitter saying the servers were failing and that the initializing screen was locking up.

Respawn was fast to respond to its users through social media, particularly on Twitter where it has sent out a steady stream of answers and fix solutions. The first indication that there was a problem was around 12:30 a.m. EST, when Titanfall tweeted that customers were complaining about slow load times, that the connecting screens were causing issues and it noted users with a Belkin router were also having difficulty getting online.

Respawn did work quickly to attack the core server problem.

"Patch is out. Things are starting to recover quickly now - you should get onto that Private Lobby server much faster soon," it Tweeted at about 2:30 a.m. and about an hour later the company reported it was working on the Belkin router issue.

Otherswise the night can be considered a huge success. By being the lone console launch pather, Microsoft has a leg up on its competition. Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft's chief marketing and strategy officer for Xbox, was on hand in Austin for the launch party. To help boost Xbox One sales, Microsoft is offering a special bundle of an Xbox One and the game for $499. The title itself carries a $59.99 price tag.

The game for the Xbox and PC hit Best Buy, Microsoft and GameStop stores at midnight March 11, although gamers still playing on an Xbox 360 and PlayStation will have to wait another two weeks to get their hands on the latest game.

Respawn held a monster-size launch party at the South by Southwest (SXSW) conference last night that included a walk through of the first-person shooter and it gave party goers a chance to settle in and play the game.
