Ever since Black Canary showed up on Arrow in the form of Sara Lance, we've always wondered when the character would get her "cry" abilities from the comics. Sara had a device that could emit loud screeching sounds that could break glass and disorient enemies, but nothing compared to the real thing.

Well, that could all change in The Flash episode "All Star Team Up." From what we can tell from the latest promo images, Joe and Cisco will make their way to Starling City in hopes to find the dirty deeds on Dr. Harrison Wells. There, the group will meet the likes of Laurel Lance, who will end up getting a device from Cisco that is designed to give the character her long overdue canary cry.

The device is something Laurel will wear around her neck, possibly to increase the wave of her voice. We're just speculating here because we have no idea how it works. However, we've always suspected that this would be the way Black Canary would get her canary cry.

Arrow is a show that is rooted in reality, for the most part, so we doubt the writers would have chosen to give one of the main cast superpowers.

We would love to see how this device works around the neck of Laurel Lance and whether or not the body found by Joe and Lance is that of the real Harrison Wells. For those who have been living under a rock for weeks, Reverse Flash took the identity of Harrison Wells after he was marooned in the past.

He dumped the body somewhere, so it was only a matter of time before it was found.

This news will surely make its way to Barry Allen in a flash, so seeing how he reacts should be something special. Unfortunately, we have to wait until next week since The Flash did not show in the week of the Easter holiday.
