The Samsung Gear Fit has features found in a fitness tracker and a smartwatch rolled into one. Originally priced at $199, the Gear Fit can now be purchased at a discounted price of $135 at Amazon.

As a fitness tracker, the Gear Fit has the ability to monitor and log one's daily activities which include cycling or walking. As a smartwatch, the Gear Fit features a number of smartphone functionalities such controlling music and the ability to reject incoming calls.

One thing that should be noted about the Gear Fit is the fact that it was the first curved AMOLED display device from Samsung which earned major attention from the media. It directly competes against the LG LifeBand Touch and the Sony SmartBand.

The new $135 price point at Amazon means that the wearable was slashed $64 off its original price. The new price point is even lower than the previously listed price of $149.99 at Amazon. The product is currently in stock and includes free shipping with every purchase.

Amazon has also listed a number of Samsung devices that are compatible with the Gear Fit. These include the Galaxy TabPRO, Galaxy NotePRO, Galaxy Note 10.1, Galaxy Mega 5.8, Galaxy Mega 6.3, Galaxy S4 mini, Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4 Zoom, Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Note 3 Neo, Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Grand 2, and Galaxy S5.

Amazon also shared some reviews from customers who have already purchased and used the Gear Fit from Samsung.

"The Gear Fit features a beautiful, curved AMOLED screen that has been described as bulky, but it fits on the wrist quite well in my experience. There's never been anything like this on the smartwatch, or gadget market in general.
