Google has announced the schedule for Google I/O 2015, its developer conference scheduled to take place later this month.

As usual, Google will take advantage of the conference to announce its new mobile operating system, currently dubbed "Android M." In fact, the schedule tells us a lot about what the next version of Android might look like.

One session in particular, titled "Android for Work," offered details about Android in one sentence, saying that "Android M is bringing the power of Android to all kinds of workplaces." Google since removed the listing for this session, but not before a number of people saw the posting and took screenshots of it.

It has long been expected that Google would bring better work functionality to Android in the near future, with Android traditionally taking backseat to the likes of Windows and Apple's iOS in the business environment.

In fact, Google even launched an Android for Work initiative in February with a goal of convincing more business-people to use Android-based devices for their work lives.

Android for Work isn't the only trick Google has up its sleeve for Android at Google I/O. The company also will be holding a session at which it intends to go into the Google Fit app, which is essentially Google's answer to Apple's Health app.

Another session, which is called "Notifications, Interruptions and Volumes: Coming Attractions," suggests that Google has refined how notifications work in Android M. This is great considering the fact that many want a little more power from the notifications in Android M, including the ability to reply to notifications and better tweak notification alerts.

Google also has a session titled "Battery Performance & Tooling," which will help developers be able to better manage how much battery power their apps use.

Last but not least, a session called "Your app, now available hands-free" offers up an intriguing description: "What if you could provide users with a new method of access to your apps with little to no development overhead? In this talk, we will discuss ways to give anyone access to their Android device through voice alone."

Of course, the official name of Android M is also something that many are wondering about. Google has been naming different versions of Android after different candies in alphabetical order. The current version is called Android Lollipop, with previous versions being Android KitKat and Android Jelly Bean. Only time will tell what the next version of Android will be called. Android M&M? Android Milkshake?
