If you were considering purchasing Google's latest flagship smartphone, the Nexus 6, T-Mobile has cut the price of the 6-inch phablet by $100.

When Google unveiled the Nexus 6 in October 2014, it decided to take a single device approach by releasing the 6-inch phablet, unlike the norm from companies like Apple and Samsung, who both offer customers flagship smartphones and phablets. The device is also manufactured by a company once owned by Google for a short period of time, Motorola.

The Nexus 6 was the launch vehicle for Android 5.0 Lollipop and is also available on all five major U.S. carriers, which includes AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular. The Nexus 6 can also be purchased unlocked via Google's Play Store in choices of 32 GB or 64 GB.

If you were considering picking up a Nexus 6, you might want to check out T-Mobile, who has just put the device on sale and is offering it for $100 less than its usual price.

Since the phablet is a Nexus, it will receive regular updates to Android whenever Google releases them. The phablet features a 6-inch 2560 by 1440 quad-HD display with a pixel density of 493 pixels per inch (ppi). It's powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, Adreno 420 GPU (graphics processing unit) and 3 GB of RAM. It's packing a 13 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video chat and a large 3,220 mAh battery that will provide up to 24 hours of talk time.

T-Mobile is offering the 32 GB Nexus 6 for $549.84 or $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $22.91, and the 64 GB version is priced at $599.76 or $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $24.99
