I know, I would have probably used "feet-on" in the headline, but the fact of the matter is I used my hands on this one.

The company didn't have nearly enough products to let us all slip them in our shoes. Honestly, my feet are currently warm enough, thank you very much.

However, winter, as an HBO series once famously said, is coming, and there's nothing worse than a pair of cold feet. Foot warmers alone aren't enough to warrant a presence at IFA, of course, but what if said foot warmers also included a pedometer?

What's that,  you say? You're listening now?

The "world's first connected heated insoles" (I put that in quotes, but there's little reason to think anyone else tried to make something like this before) use Bluetooth 4.0 to communicate with Android and iOS devices, allowing the user to adjust the heat on the balls of their feet and to send back step counts. The Bluetooth range is up to 16 feet, so you can warm cold shoes on a winter's morning.

The Digitsoles will run you $99 — a price that may end up giving some users cold feet.
