Fossil creates watches that fit any classy or elegant wardrobe. Fossil fans are eager to get their hands on the Fossil Q watches.

After the luxury watchmaker showcased its new trio of Fossil Q connected accessories at the Dion Lee and Baja East fashion shows in New York, the attendees got excited for the functional and fashionable timepieces. This holiday season, Fossil will release three Fossil Q models - a connected non-display watch, a connected bracelet and an Android Wear smartwatch.

The Fossil Q is compatible with all operating systems (OS), including the two most popular, Android and iOS, and even Windows. Fossil will also launch a companion app that will run on all three devices.

The Fossil Q trio is equipped with all the expected apps that come with the usual smartwatch, such as a movement tracker and a notification manager, and users can also join online communities with the devices. Powered by an Intel chip, the smart jewelry seems promising and more than capable of running on Android Wear.

Regarding its design, the Fossil Q comes in a variety of different materials and strap colors, and it is also available in men and women designs. Based on the preview that Fossil teased the world with, the Fossil Q seems to be built with metal.

Fossil is one of the first watchmakers to release a stylish circular smartwatch, appealing to a ton of audiences. The Fossil Q is not just for hip teenagers, but it is also for fashion-oriented adults. The watchmaker is yet to give a solid price or release date, keeping fans on the edge of their seats.

The Fossil Q isn't an Apple Watch killer, but it does seem like it will start a trend of fashionable smartwatches and create a fan base of its own.

It is safe to expect more similar devices from the Fossil Group, including Emporio Armani and Michael Kors, because of the direction it seems to be heading. They can also be imagined to use the same technology with their own respective companion apps and be equal in terms of quality.
