Now that Marvel's Jessica Jones has a release date on Netflix, more trailers are cropping up teasing the series and giving viewers some insight into the title character.

In the first teaser trailer, Netflix showed off Jessica's strength, as demonstrated by her crushing an ill-fated early morning alarm clock with her bare hand.

Now, a new teaser shows Jessica giving a jukebox a not-so-gentle nudge before striding through a bar scene, where, obviously, a major brawl just went down. Jessica steps over the bodies to approach the bar, where she enjoys a drink while Joan Jett's "Bad Reputation" plays in the background.

Both teaser trailers certainly set the tone for an ex-superhero who doesn't care about being bad.

The Marvel Comics character is the creation of writer Brian Michael Bendis, who debuted Jessica Jones in an adult-oriented comic book series called Alias. That storyline shows Jessica getting her superpowers via radioactive chemicals (just like almost every other superhero), giving her both the ability to fly and extraordinary strength.

After having her mind controlled by Purple Man (portrayed by David Tennant in the Netflix series), Jones hangs up her superhero costume and becomes a private eye instead. She eventually falls in love with fellow superhero Luke Cage, who will also soon get his own Netflix series.

The Jessica Jones series revolves around the superheroine and her adventures, though it's not yet known if it will cover Jones' origin story before her days as a private eye. The story will tie into an overall Defenders plot, with Netflix eventually making a series featuring the full cast of Defenders characters: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist.

"I think ideally there will be a rhythm of about every six months you'll get a new season or a new series from the Defenders group," said Netflix CCO Ted Sarandos at TCA. "And then they'll cross over into a combined [Defenders] season once we've launched the first season of each of the four characters."

Recently, Jones' creator, Bendis, took to Tumblr praising the first two episodes of the new series.

"Jessica is a part of my DNA," wrote Bendis. "A bad Jessica Jones show would have hurt me deeply. But it is faithful and lively and everything that I could personally have wanted from the show."

All 13 episodes of Jessica Jones will arrive on Netflix on November 20.
