If you're a fan of Marvel's Daredevil on Netflix, then chances are you're patiently waiting for the latest highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe series to hit the streaming platform — Marvel's Jessica Jones.

And now we finally have a date to look forward to: Netflix announced on Thursday via the show's Twitter account that Jessica Jones will premiere on November 20, 2015 at 12:01 PT.

The tweet links to a video on Marvel Entertainment's YouTube page, giving fans a look at what's in store for the first season of the brand-new series. The video opens onto the corner of Birch Street and Higgins Drive — which transforms into a camera lens and then, to a spilled drink. There are shards of glass and the city skyline with the silhouette of Jones standing in the middle of the street.

"It's time the world knew her name."

Jessica Jones is based on the Marvel comic book character Jessica Campbell Jones Cage, who first appeared in Alias #1 in 2001 as the superheroine who runs Alias Private Investigations. The show will follow the story of the private investigator in New York's Hell's Kitchen, whose superhero past comes back to haunt her.

Actress Krysten Ritter will star as Jones in the live-action Netflix series, joining David Tennant as Kilgrave, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, and Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker.

Showrunner Melissa Rosenberg (Dexter, Twilight) will service as executive producer, along with Liz Friedman (Elementary) and Jeph Loeb (Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D).

Those who love a good binge-watching session will be pleased to know that all 13 episodes of Marvel's Jessica Jones will be available to stream on Netflix starting November 20. Watch the premiere date announcement in the video below.
