All good things must come to an end.

The hunt for Destiny's elusive Sleeper Stimulant is finally over, and to the dismay of some fans, it was finished with a single strike.

If you got through the first part of the Sleeper Stimulant quest, which includes two story missions, one puzzle and a lot of waiting, you'll find yourself in a new Gunsmith mission called The Sleeper Stirs. By completing this, you will unlock a new level 42 version of the Fallen SABER strike.

Check out the Fallen SABER strike, as seen on the director.

Make no mistake, though, this strike is one tough cookie, particularly at the beginning, where you are tasked to defend (yet another) Warsat. On the other hand, this version has some form of matchmaking, so the chances of completing the strike on your own are relatively high — that is, unless you get stuck with a bad team.

If this quest isn't available to you yet, chances are you aren't done with the first part of the hunt. You can refer to our guide to check if you're good to go.

If you still can't access The First Firewall, fret not. Bungie has news for you.

"If you've collected the items needed to unlock it, The First Firewall is in your Director today. If you haven't, it will return in time," Bungie tweeted.

Back to business — once you defeat the Fallen SABER, you will receive a Sleeper Simulant Weapon Frame.

Take this to the Gunsmith, and hold your breath for a bit longer. Lo and behold, Destiny's Holy Grail, the most awaited weapon.

At the end of the quest, we must ask the question that's been playing around everyone's mind: is this weapon worth all the fuss and all the waiting around? Or did Bungie's statement earlier this year tend to be on the overpromising side? The report said:

"Bungie doesn't want to spoil the story content of this mission, but it did say that there will be unique tasks and objectives required for completion, which might even include puzzles that are too hard for any one player to figure out on their own."

Depending on whether or not the quest is truly finished, it could be that all the hunting and sticking around for Warsats was all in vain. Stand by for possible updates on this ever-suspenseful, borderline melodramatic Sleeper Stimulant saga.
