Just a week after the PlayStation Network's Black Friday sale, Sony is back with a four-week-long holiday sale that is sure to be the bane of paychecks everywhere.

Much like the Black Friday sale, this ongoing sale will see some games discounted up to 65 percent off, with PlayStation plus members receiving up to 75 percent off various games and movies on sale at the digital PS Store. The discounted games will change every week for the duration of the sale, so be sure to check back and see what the new deals are.

As for what is on sale this first week, it is mostly a collection of discounted indie games like Contrast, flOw and Guacamelee, but there are a number of bigger name titles receiving some deep discounts as well. Players can pick up Wolfenstein: The New Order for $29.99 if you are a PS Plus member, or $35 for non-members. South Park: The Stick of Truth is $16 for PS Plus members and $20 for those who aren't. Gamers can also pick up Assassin's Creed Liberation HD for only $8 if you are PS Plus member. You can check out the full list of games on sale over at the official PlayStation blog

Some solid deals to be sure, and even better is that a number of movies are also on sale. Like the games, new movies will be discounted every week. If you are in the mood for a Rocky marathon, this sale might be your opportunity: Rocky I through IV are each on sale for $4.99. Also on sale are Terminator and several anime films like Bleach The Movie: Fade to Black and Narruto Shippuden The Movie: Bonds. Each of those films are on sale for $6.99. Just be sure to pace yourself -- this sale is just getting started.
