Google Arts & Culture app has found its way to the top spot in both the Google Play Store and the Apple App store.
In collaboration with different museums around the world, users are able to visit different places, discover collections curated by experts, and enjoy different stories and pictures on-screen or in virtual reality. However, it was the portrait feature included back in December that really got users invested.
The company’s new feature pairs up a user's selfie with a historic doppelgänger. The feature has been a hit even for celebrities.

Unlike the usual apps that make it to the top spot, the Google Arts & Culture app is not a game or social media app. It's not even new, as it launched back in 2016.
