Disney star David Henrie was apprehended on Sept. 10 for carrying a loaded firearm to the Los Angeles International Airport.
According to Officer Rob Pedregon, a spokesman for airport police, the actor was arrested at Terminal 2 after TSA authorities went through his baggage and found an M&P Shield 9mm pistol. He was taken into the LAPD Pacific Division Jail but was released with a set court date.
After the incident, the former Disney channel star apologized for his behavior on social media. According to him, it was unintentional and he legally owned the gun which was registered to his name. He also added that the incident made him feel embarrassed and humiliated. It is still unclear why the celebrity brought the gun to the airport.

"I am so sorry for any trouble it caused, but I am appreciative of TSA's efforts in implementing the safety laws that are in place to protect our beautiful country," he added.
The 29-year-old celebrity also appeared in the hit show How I Met Your Mother from 2005 to 2014 where he portrayed one of the children who listened to an off-camera Future Ted as he told them how he met their mom and other experiences from the years before.
The arrest of Henrie came only a week after he and his wife, former Miss Delaware Maria Cahill, announced that they were expecting their firstborn. The couple tied the knot in April 2017 and recently knew that they were having a baby girl during a gender reveal party that was posted on Instagram.
"ITS A GIRL ITS A GIRL ITS A GIRL. Im a Poppa!!!!! Im so overwhelmed with joy I had to share this with you guys," revealed the actor as he posted a clip of him popping a black balloon to uncover pink glitter and dust.
Henrie After Disney
The actor co-starred with famous singer and actress Selena Gomez on Wizards of Waverly Place, a hit Disney sitcom from 2007 to 2012 as brother and sister. He played Justin Russo.
Since then, the two have remained close and are often seen hanging out. The two celebrities even posted a photo of themselves on their 4th of July celebration on Instagram. Gomez, along with their Disney costars also attended Henrie's wedding.
He also appeared in Arrested Development, That's So Raven, Grown Ups 2, Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, and Cold Case.
