After a few delays and some time of waiting, CD Projekt's fans are finally able to play the highly-anticipated action RPG from the developers, "Cyberpunk 2077."

Best 'Cyberpunk 2077' Weapons

"Cyberpunk 2077" centers around V, a completely customizable character that players assume the role of and can either become a NetRunner/hacker, Solo/combat, or Techie/machinery, who goes around Night City, an open-world megacity, chasing after a cyberware implant that is said to be the key to immortality.

There will be tons of combat in the game, so you need to equip V with the best possible weapons based on the class you choose.

According to VG247, the game's DPS system during the early to mid-game as you level up means you'll have to change your loadout continually, so during these times, you'll want to choose the weapons that have the highest DPS.

Even the common weapons such as the Liberty Pistol, Copperhead Assault Rifle, Achilles Precision Rifle, Sidewinder Smart Assault Rifle, Smasher Shotgun, and Katana Melee Sword can help during the early and mid-games.

And since these are common weapons, you can most likely find them almost anywhere in Night City.

Body Customization for Weapons

As V, you'll also have to visit the Ripperdoc now and then to customize V's body, such as the Monowire, Mantis Blades, Projectile Launcher, and Gorilla Arms, which will cost 20 Street Cred to buy.

If you have them equipped, these will act as V's 4th weapon.

Then again, choose the best weapons based on your class, for example, melee characters would want to use the Gorilla Arms while Mantis Blades are perfect if V is running on high reflexes.

Best Iconic Weapons and Locations

Nevertheless, "Cyberpunk 2077" players would want to get their hands on the game's Iconic weapons, which offer a unique look that will make your character look much better and cooler--and they're relatively easy to find, as long as you have excellent attention to detail.

According to the report, Iconic Weapons are either the weapons themselves or crafting specs that require crafting from the Item Components.

These are easier to find as well since they're found throughout main missions in the game and could either be dropped by a boss or hidden in the environment, while Iconic crafting specs can be acquired from combat-focused events with skull markers of "Suspected Organised Crime Activity."

Here are some of the best Iconic "Cyberpunk 2077" weapons:

  • Kongou - Can be acquired from story mission "The Heist" on the right-side table beside the bed.

  • Chaos - Can be acquired from Royce from story mission "The Pickup."

  • Sir John Phallustiff - During "The Pickup," just make sure to call Militech Corpo Meredith Stout before heading inside with Jackie, strike a deal with her, and spend more "romantic" time with her to unlock a side job where the weapon is at the destination.

  • Widowmaker - Get it from Nash's body when helping Panam Palmer.

How to Get Legendary 'Cyberpunk 2077' Weapons

Legendary weapons in "Cyberpunk 2077" also exist, which are the rarest and include extra perks and more mod slots.

Legendary weapons aren't necessarily the best in terms of DPS, but you'll still want to get them.

They can be acquired from several bosses you encounter throughout the game, as well as by upgrading lower-tier Iconic weaponry, which would take a long time.

You can also get them from Organised Crime Activity and Assault in Progress world events.

How to Get Johnny Silverhand's Gun

However, many "Cyberpunk 2077" players would most likely want to get Johnny Silverhand's gun called the Malorian Arms 3516, which is not only the coolest gun in the game, it's also one of the best weapons.

The weapon can only be unlocked near the end of the game in Act 3 by unlocking the "Chippin' In" side quest that you simply need to follow to get the pistol.
