Ford executive has thrown a massive stink bomb to Tesla on Twitter, particularly after a Tesla investor said that the car manufacturer could not lineup with the Palo Alto EVs, which led to a heated argument that trashed both companies. In addition to that, Ford went as far as saying that Tesla's Full-Self Driving feature is a "vaporware."

Ford versus Tesla has been a match-up of the modern vehicle era, and if this was asked several years ago, people would have rooted for the first commercial vehicle in history, but it is not the same case today. In this present time, Tesla has raised its popularity and prominence as one of the most recognizable electric vehicle companies in the world.

With this, the Palo Alto company has debuted a lot of technological advances for EV technology, and that includes its popular "Autopilot" and the latest "Full-Self Driving" (FSD) which is still in a selected public beta. That being said, people have rallied and brought this with Tesla, particularly those with initial deposits for the feature, supposed to be a subscription service.

In a tweet released by Ford Spokesperson Mike Levine (@mrlevine) via Twitter on Sunday, March 21, he called Tesla's FSD to feature a "vaporware," in response to a Tesla investor's statement about the Ford Mustang Mach-E. The investor said that Ford cannot match-up against Tesla and that the Mach-E "rips-off" customers for its performance and offers.

The heated argument between the two led from one thing to another, with Levine calling Tesla's FSD a "vaporware" which is a massive insult to the clean energy company directly. Vaporware is software or hardware that has been promised by the company or its creators but has not yet seen a release for a long time, hence the relation to vapor.

This is one massive insult to Tesla, especially as the company has been explicit on releasing the Tesla FSD for this year, after undergoing different upgrades and development from the company. Tesla's reason for having the FSD later than expected is that it wants the technology to be the absolute version, bringing safety and ease to every user.

When is the FSD Coming?

Tesla has not yet revealed any plans regarding the FSD's arrival among Tesla's technology, especially for this year, where the updates of the technology have ceased compared to the constant mentions. Elon Musk has been talking about it since November and December 2020 but was not a hot topic for the CEO this 2021.

The Mustang Mach-E is a direct competitor of Tesla, particularly its Model X, as the racehorse name was redesigned to a larger crossover body that provides a larger cabin and a liftback trunk. The vehicle debuted a somehow identical platform, with differences from its range, features, drivetrain, and performance that set it apart.
