The new feature will make it easier for travelers to choose a more sustainable way to travel. By simply searching two destinations, you will be provided with listings in Google Search. There will be a direct link that will take you to the partner website to get your ticket.
More Eco-Friendly Features
Aside from that, Google is also introducing a new search tool that will let users narrow down flight and hotel options that have lower carbon emissions. Therefore, users now have the option to search for flights with low emissions. The tool can also show flights in order of emission amount.
For hotels, there is an eco-certified filter, which ensures a hotel is verified by organizations, such as the US Green Building Council and the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.
