Elon Musk now reveals additional information to the public for the Tesla Giga Texas' future expansion plans, and it will add a massive piece of land to its revised site plans for utilization. It will extend from south of the current gigafactory down to the river behind it, teasing that it will be "next-level" and open to the public.

It is an entirely new venture for Musk and Tesla as no other gigafactories were seeing an expansion that would transform the place and open it to all people wanting to visit. The Giga Texas' expansion would open a boardwalk that would extend up to downtown Austin, and it will be more accessible to the public soon.

Giga Texas: Tourist Spot with Electric Boats

Being open to the public in the future means that it would be available as a tourist spot as well, and different people wanting to visit the manufacturing plant would also have a place to unwind. Additionally, the top billionaire teased making future electric boats from Tesla, focusing on a retro-futuristic design, mainly centering on a Victorian theme for the water vehicles.

Tesla Giga Texas and its Future Plans

Tesla first unveiled the Giga Texas in the previous years, and it is the latest location of the company's massive manufacturing plants that will center on delivering remarkable numbers of EVs. Musk previously invited members of the public to join its "Grand Opening Party" which took place in April, with the tech CEO busting some moves during the event.

As August went by, Musk and Tesla were able to attain their goals to produce one thousand electric vehicles per week, with its supply chain centering on the Model Y EVs for its public availability. The plant aims to widen its production rate in the future, especially with state-of-the-art casting machines which will deliver on the EV's unibody shell.

Giga Texas is also the site where the future Cybertrucks would arrive to the public for its upcoming release speculated for next year.

Apart from its focus on electric vehicles and other Tesla tech, Gigafactory Texas would also serve as a future tourist hub that is open to the public for leisure, gatherings, and more. The company would utilize the river behind it for a boardwalk, with users able to rent out electric boats and cruise around it in retro-futuristic Victorian style.
