PlayStation Plus members have something to look forward to this February - the fantastic classic RPG "The Legend of Dragoon" is now available as part of the PS Plus Extra lineup. Although the game has been around since the 1990s, it's newly improved with the addition of trophies.
According to the story by Giz China, since its launch, this marks the first time the game offers these gaming reward points. In addition to this classic RPG, PS Plus offers two 2022 releases and other classic titles such as "Resident Evil 7."

Last week, Sony gave PS Plus subscribers something to be excited about when they added the classic JRPG, "The Legend of Dragoon," to their PlayStation Plus Extra catalog. This news is thrilling because 24 years after its launch, this game will come with a new feature, as also noted by Comic Book.
Sony is adding trophies for the first time to "The Legend of Dragoon," which PlayStation Studios developed in 1999. True Trophies, a reliable source in the gaming community, has confirmed that fans of the classic RPG will be able to earn Bronze, Silver, and Gold trophies when it releases on February 21st.

There's no word yet on a possible Platinum trophy, but the report does note that the trophies may not be available at launch. This isn't the first PS1 classic game to receive trophies-Sony has added them to several of these classics, particularly those that are IPs.

Considering the success of Final Fantasy on the PlayStation console, it's no surprise that Sony has decided to give this classic RPG the same treatment as some of their other beloved titles.

The game remains a cult classic today, but its lifetime Metacritic score is 74. Fans have been hoping for a remake, but Sony has not confirmed anything so far. Even though "The Legend of Dragoon" is not the most popular game ever, it's sure to be a great addition to the PlayStation Plus lineup as it gives players a chance to experience a classic game for free.
