We haven't seen much of Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, mainly because she's not a main character. However, we have been seeing concept images, and here is another one that looks quite fine.

Heroic Hollywood, by the hands of El Mayimbe, managed to get their hands on a new piece of concept art that shows what Gal Gadot will look like in the 2016 film. We have to agree that despite the actress being on the skinny side, she looks beautiful in this concept art.

We get to see her in armor, with her shield and sword in hand. Her lasso is strapped in the usual position on her waist, and her hair is flowing in the wind. Does it look awesome? We have to say it does, and it is quite surprising, to say the least.

Usually, in the comics and animation, Wonder Woman only carries her shield into battle when there's a powerful enemy involved. For the weaker ones, her bracelet is effective for defensive maneuvers. This makes us wonder if the rumors of Doomsday appearing in the movie is accurate.

She needs to have an active opening, and what better way to give her one than to introduce an enemy that is strong enough to take down Superman with ease — an enemy that requires a team and not just one man? If she was not set for some serious action, we doubt Zack Snyder and Warner Bros. would have shown her in costume, looking menacing, as if she's about to rip someone's head off.

Here's the concept art:

Hopefully, Zack Snyder will do Wonder Woman justice, because while this is not the first time she has been brought to life in live action, it is the first time she will be seen on the big screen. Failure to do her justice would make her solo movie a difficult sell, and fans won't stand for it.

The Wonder Woman solo film is not expected hit theaters until 2017 while Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set for a March 25, 2016 release date.
