Behold, there are now devices solely devoted to helping people take better selfies.

Whether this is a sign of a narcissism takeover or just a logical result of supply and demand, different companies have started taking the business of selfie devices seriously.

Jonathan Cheban, best friend of the Kardashian sisters, debuted his new selfie accessories line earlier this year. Unsurprisingly called Glam Screen, the line features accessories like an HD screen protector. The screen protector acts like a regular protector when the phone's light is on and turns into an actual mirror when the light is off. Another item, the hands-free Selfie Ring, allows users to take non-shaky selfies. The tool is attached to the back of the phone and features rings that the user loops through their fingers to maintain a tight-grip on their phone.

These accessories, though they seem superfluous, are not even some of the most outrageous selfie equipment seen on the market. Sharper Image's Telescoping Selfie Arm is a $50 stick that attaches a camera or phone to a clip. The arm extends so that users can take photos without the conventional selfie angles.

These devices make sense in light of a recent article in The New York Times that investigates how many people are forgoing traditional selfies for glamour shots taken by professional photographers. With more and more people viewing their social media profiles as their own personal magazine- complete with beautiful and filtered shots of them, the "selfie game" and all of the product opportunities that go along with it, are bound to become more sophisticated.
