Stan "The Man" Lee has made cameo appearances in nearly every Marvel film to date, and next summer's sure-to-be blockbuster, "Avengers: Age of Ultron," will be no different. Lee confirmed his appearance in the film at the London Film and ComicCon over the weekend, according to a report from MovieWeb.com.

The 92-year-old comic book legend, who is responsible for helping create some of the best known super heroes -- including Spider-Man, the X-Men and more -- spoke about the Marvel films and their success at the convention. Speaking about the Marvel films and their importance to the comic industry, Lee said having some of the biggest films of all time definitely helps.

"All it can do is make it better for Marvel if we do these movies and the movies are successful," Lee says. "There are people reading Marvel comic books that would have never thought to read a comic book before. It helps the comic book business. The movie business has been unbelievably incredible. The Marvel movies are about the biggest money-making movies of all."

It was during this time that Lee let slip that he recently finished filming his cameo appearance.

"The movies have been great," Lee says. "We have been so lucky. We've got the best directors, the best special effects people and wonderful actors. People that had not been big stars before like the fellow who plays Thor  - he's wonderful! I was with him yesterday - I did my cameo of course [for Avengers: Age of Ultron]. And Chris [Evans] who plays Captain America... He's excellent."

On the subject of the upcoming "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice", which will be competing directly against Marvel's third "Captain America" film, Lee had some advice for his competitors over at DC and Warner Bros.

"DC could probably make a lot more money with Superman and Batman if they announced that I'd have a cameo in it!" Lee says. "People wouldn't believe it - they'd have to go to the theatre to see it!"

To be sure, many die-hard Marvel fans would flock to the theater to see the comic legend appear in a rival film. Sadly, it is probably in Disney's best interest to make sure that "Batman v. Superman" won't be getting any boosts at the box office, especially considering both "Captain America 3" and "Batman v. Superman" hit theaters the same day. Don't expect to see Stan Lee in Gotham City anytime soon, but be sure to keep an eye out for his cameo next summer when "Avengers: Age of Ultron" hits theaters.
