While he does not have the superhero skills of his law partner, Franklin "Foggy" Nelson has been known to pull Matt Murdock's (a.k.a Daredevil) tush out of the fire on many occasions. So finding a capable actor to play the legal foil for the red-horned incredi-lawyer was a tough sell, especially considering Jon Favreau admirably filled the shoes last in Ben Affleck's attempt at "Daredevil" over a decade ago.

However, it looks like character actor Elden Henson has been tapped to play the unkempt Franklin P. Nelson in Netflix's upcoming "Daredevil" TV series, according to Marvel. He will be joining Charlie Cox, who is playing Daredevil himself; Vincent D'Onorfrio, who is playing Kingpin and Rosario Dawson, who is playing a yet-unknown role.

Throughout the years, Foggy has become an integral part of the world of Daredevil. Out of shape but dedicated to the job and aware of his partner's nightlife, Foggy never wavers from his famous friend, no matter how deep Daredevil's secret life goes. Despite being partners, both Matt and Foggy are known for their passionate arguments about law and other, lets just say, "evening endeavors." Matt's loyalty to Foggy is unmatched and one of the more rarefied relationships in all of comics.

It is easy to see that Foggy and Matt are brothers in the truest sense. A pro when it comes to getting himself involved in Matt's love life, Foggy is the guy you want to have your back in a negotiation or a fight. He may not be much of a brawler, but the man's got moxie. Countless times, Foggy has saved the day proving his worth to his best friend.

Veteran character actor Eldin Henson, whose credits include major roles in the final installment of the "Hunger Games" films, is the perfect choice for the office schlub with the heart of gold. He has the acting chops and looks to bring life to Daredevil's stalwart companion, and he is ready to break out in a big way. The key will be the chemistry he has with the man playing Matt Murdock, Charlie Cox.
