As if Joaquin Phoenix couldn’t get any stranger, YouTube user anfa67 found something very disturbing about the actor’s forehead. By rotating the camera sideways and focusing on Phoenix’s forehead, this user discovered what looks to be another face within his own head.

It might sound strange on the surface, but let the entire video play out to see the majesty of Phoenix’s second face unfold. Once you see it, you don’t be able to unsee it, and there is a good chance you’ll never look at Phoenix the same way again. The clip is taken from the movie "Her," which stars Phoenix as a loner who falls in love with an artificial intelligence. It was a brilliant performance that should stick out as the actor's finest work. That is until this video hit the Internet.

The forehead seems to morph into a cartoonish face of sorts in front of our eyes, with a tuft of reddish-brown hair that transforms into a scraggly beard, not unlike Gimli’s from “Lord of the Rings.” And to put it mildly, the face does not look happy. Remember, Phoenix didn't win an Oscar for his role in "Her," so perhaps the face is planning its inevitable revenge on all of us. If that's the case, the members of the Academy should already be planning to disappear overseas.

Of course this is all a matter of perspective, and maybe only people with their own forehead face can understand. Might as well give the video a shot. The only harm is the image of Joaquin Phoenix's creepy forehead face haunting your dreams until the sun burns out.
