With the way virtual reality is exploding and being sought after, one company has come up with a way to conveniently slide the technology into your pocket.

Quantum Bakery LLC has introduced Figment VR, an iPhone case/virtual reality viewer all in one sleek unit. The company has launched a Kickstarter campaign for the device, which has already received upwards of $6,300 of its targeted goal of $75,000 after launching just Tuesday. An early-bird pledge of $49 will land you the Figment VR unit, fitting an iPhone 6 or 6s.

Figment VR works as a standard case, sleekly sliding into your pocket, but with the touch of a button, the virtual reality viewer of the component pops up, allowing users to be immersed in VR movies, concerts, games and more.

Fitting an iPhone 6 or 6s, coming in black, white and soon-to-be champagne colors, and weighing only two ounces, the Figment VR case/viewer eliminates the need to carry around a VR viewer — say a Google Cardboard.

That and with a growing number of virtual reality apps popping up on smartphones, the Figment makes it extra convenient to get fully immersed right on the spot, instead of waiting for the opportunity to get your hands on a Cardboard or a different VR headset. That convenience is what Quantum Bakery LLC is targeting with this device with the company even giving a circumstance that you could avoid by purchasing it.

"So when you're reading the New York Times in line at the coffee shop and happen to see a link to its new immersive storytelling app, you can't experience the stories until you get home," it writes, as part of its Kickstarter campaign. "And by then your mind will be elsewhere."

It is an advantage to view VR content right then and there on the spot.
