With what's sure to induce even more rage in multiplayer games, either from the content or the concept, PlayStation 4 exclusive Killzone Shadow Fall has released its Fun and Games DLC filled with spotlight animations - users can fart at, slap around and plank on downed players.

Unlike the assault rifle and counter intelligence equipment included in Insurgent DLC pack, Killzone's developers Fun and Games pack was meant to lighten the mood of the game. The tiny DLC pack on adds new animations to the game's Spotlights, sequences at the end of matches in which the top players on the winning team get to humiliate the opposition.

"It's all fun and games until someone loses a game. (Or so they say) Show your fallen enemies, not everything need be taken seriously," stated the description of the DLC on Killzone YouTube page. "This pack contains Fart, Planking and Comedy spotlight moves."

For individuals looking for comedic content to annoy fellow player or remind them it's just a game, the $1.99 Fun and Games Pack may just fit the bill.

For players frustrated with the concept of microtransations, the Fun and Games Pack may be viewed as an insidious practice developing within a company that has released more than 30 premium add ons for the core game.

The Fun and Games Pack isn't the first Spotlight DLC to bring a bit of humor into the game. The slapping animation it shows off in the Fun and Games Pack was included in the Killzone Shadow Fall Victory 101 Spotlight Move Pack DLC, while the Killzone Shadow Fall St. Patrick's Day Spotlight Move Pack introduced "Irish" jigs into the game.

"Dance like proud Irish sons and daughters in this festive spotlight pack released to celebrate St. Patrick's Day," stated St. Patrick's Day Spotlight Move Pack's description.

Oh, there was also the Dance Move Spotlight Pack, along with an array of offbeat vehicle skins that ranged from a cheese texture to zebra print. So while the Fun and Games Pack offers players the ability to fart and plank, some players may not see it as refreshing - but at $1.99, it offers the same impulse appeal as the other 30 or so packs that have been priced in that ballpark.

Killzone Shadow Fall was released in November of 2013 as a launch title exclusively for the PS4. It has been received considerably well by players and has been nominated for numerous awards.
