EA Sports, the sports brand of Electronic Arts, has released a new trailer for FIFA 15, promising "emotion and intensity" for the gamers that will pick up the latest iteration of the football management and simulation video game franchise.

The trailer explores the interactions between the players of both teams and the role of fans during matches.

The trailer also reveals that players will have different feelings and attitudes towards other players, be it teammates or opponents, while on the playing field.

Players will exhibit more life-like behavior, reacting to successive fouls, encouraging teammates at the onset of the match, and growing in frustration as the match bears on, among others.

When a player scores a late game-winning goal, the whole team erupts in a ten-man celebration, a feature that will be implemented for the first time in the series.

A football match will not be complete without the fans, and in FIFA 15, they are not set aside. Fans carry identities as they cheer on for their teams, complete with football club anthems, chants and celebrations. Players will also be reacting to the fans, whether cheering for them or for the opposing team.

FIFA 15 will also feature a dynamic form of match presentation that makes the matches feel more alive than ever before.

The FIFA video game series has made several significant changes in gameplay over the recent years to reach its current stature today as the most-respected football simulation in the video game industry. EA Sports has continuously built upon the successful formula of the series by adding realism to the video game, slowly making the experience feel more authentic through seemingly minor tweaks that add much wanted depth to the game.

FIFA 15 is currently under development for the Sony PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, Microsoft Xbox One and Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and 3DS, and PC.

The game is expected to be released in the United States on September 23 and in the United Kingdom on September 26.

Lionel Messi, star forward for FC Barcelona and the Argentina national team, will be featured on the cover of the game. Messi was awarded the Golden Ball trophy as the best player of the recently concluded World Cup 2014, where Argentina finished as the runner-up behind champion Germany.

One of the closest competitors of the FIFA franchise is Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer, which announced that the game will be making its debut in next-generation consoles later on this year.
