When several large retailers tried to start Black Friday on Thanksgiving night last year, many shoppers pushed back - the shopping day is huge enough on its own, it didn't need to start creeping into an actual holiday. Following the backlash, a lot of people assumed that stores would actually back off, and that Black Friday would once again be limited to Black Friday.

As it turns out...not quite.

Following a leak earlier this week, GameStop, has confirmed that its Black Friday deals will actually kick off on Tuesday, Nov. 24. The 'Pre-Black Friday Event' will feature a number of limited, timed exclusives - and it's clear that GameStop really wants you to come in before Thanksgiving even kicks off.

First and foremost, some of the year's beset games are receiving massive discounts: Until Dawn is priced at $30, while Bloodborne and Dark Souls II are sitting at $20. Considering how new these games are (especially Until Dawn) seeing a 50% price drop is surprising - but, as they say, that's just the beginning.

Two exclusive PlayStation 4 bundles will also be making their way to GameStop next Tuesday: a Call of Duty: Black Ops III 1TB console with a free copy of Destiny: The Taken King is priced at $429.99, while a Star Wars: Battlefront 500GB console bundle (which is not the cool Darth Vader PS4) that comes with a special voucher for classic Star Wars game downloads will go for $349. Again, these deals are pretty great: 1TB PlayStation 4 consoles typically ship for $429 on their own, so getting a game like Destiny for free is definitely a nice bonus.

The rest of the retailer's Black Friday deals are pretty standard: expect to see a lot of older games and goofy accessories on sale next Friday. If you're looking for every deal that GameStop has confirmed thus far, the pictures (via Polygon) are down below:

And, while some may think that starting a 'shopping holiday' three days early is a bit much (and the voucher mentions Nov. 22 deals, which just seems ridiculous), at least GameStop won't be doing anything special on Thanksgiving itself - it is the reason that families are supposed to be getting together, after all.

GameStop's Black Friday deals are set to begin on Tuesday, Nov. 24.
