Sprint is officially on board with the iPad Pro, offering Apple's giant tablet contract-free, on a two-year contract or with monthly installment options.

The iPad Pro is the largest tablet in Apple's lineup, boasting a massive 12.9-inch Retina display and high-end specs and features all around. It already stirred lots of interest and it's now joining Sprint's lineup for wider availability.

Sprint started selling the iPad Pro on Monday, Nov. 23, offering only the 128 GB LTE version of the tablet. Interested customers can either get the slate outright, with no strings attached, for the full retail price of $1,079.99 or opt for a two-year data contract that makes the iPad Pro available for $979.99. Those who prefer to get it in monthly installments through Sprint Easy Pay, meanwhile, will have to shell out a $200 down payment and then pay $36.67 per month for 24 months.

Individual data plans start at $10 per month, which gets users 100 MB, but a $15 plan is more advantageous because it offers 1 GB of data. The most expensive plan costs $110 and comes with 30 GB of data.

It's also worth pointing out that the iPad Pro qualifies for the Family Share Packs Sprint offers, allowing customers to add a tablet for $10 per month and waive monthly access charges for a maximum of four lines under 10 GB and 40 GB bundles. To waive those charges, however, the tablet has to be a new line of service and purchased at full retail price or through Sprint Easy Pay.

In addition to the tablet itself, Sprint will also offer the new Smart Keyboard Apple designed for the iPad Pro. The Keyboard will be available for purchase separately. At the time of writing, Sprint doesn't seem to have the iPad Pro Smart Keyboard available on its website, but the accessory should surface soon.

Apple underestimated demand for its iPad Pro accessories and both the Smart Keyboard and the Apple Pencil were in short supply, with shipping delayed up to five weeks. Such delays even prompted eBay scalpers to sell the Pencil and Keyboard at insane prices, but additional stock should become available through official channels soon enough.
