Apple is making you an offer you can't refuse. iTunes is currently selling "The Godfather" collection of epic crime films available for download for a price you may never see again.

All three "The Godfather" films are now available in a single bundle worth just $9.99, knocking the price off each of the films down to just $3.33. Previously, the entire trilogy cost $45 on iTunes, and if you're happy to sit back on the couch for some good old crime time with the Corleones instead of braving the shopping crowds post Thanksgiving Day, this could be the only Black Friday deal you need to buy.

With iTunes leading the trail, expect more retailers to follow the lead and offer Hollywood's most iconic mobster films for similar prices. At the moment, however, Barnes & Noble offers the DVD set for $19.99, which isn't bad but it's still double the price iTunes offers. If you want the Blu-ray set, it's $24.99. Amazon offers the Blu-ray set for $37.99, while the DVD set is $26.49. Vudu has a Standard Definition set for $27.99 and a High Definition set for $42.99, while Best Buy offers the Blu-ray set for $29.99.

For the uninitiated, "The Godfather" is easily one of the world's greatest cinematic works of all time. Based on an award-winning novel of the same name and directed by Francis Ford Coppola, also known for his later work in "Bram Stoker's Dracula," the trilogy features the saga of the fictional Corleone family, crime overlords of New York City in the 1940s. Al Pacino stars as Michael Corleone, the Mafia kingpin-in training under the family patriarch Vito, played by Marlon Brando, while Diane Keaton plays his girlfriend, Kay Adams.

The first two films went on to bag accolades and Academy Awards, including Best Picture for each of them. The third in the series, sadly, failed to live up to the reputation of the first two, but after 25 years since its release, it's still better than most films made in the last quarter of a century.

There's no knowing when the deal ends, so if you're interested, grab "The Godfather" trilogy from iTunes now.
