Adam Sandler has posted a brand new version of his classic holiday tune "Chanukah Song" to his YouTube page. The latest version of the tune is now the fourth, and includes a brand new list of real and fictional famous Jewish characters.

Now that Thanksgiving is upon us, stores around the nation have wasted no time in switching their usual background music to holiday themed fare, and it's now hard to turn on the radio without hearing a barrage of the traditional tunes that comprise the soundtrack to the holiday season year after year. The advent of streaming has also resulted in a new way for music fans to get their holiday song fix, with dedicated playlists galore from the likes of streaming services Spotify, Pandora, and others.

Most of the holiday tunes focus on the most popular holiday of all, Christmas. True to the melting pot culture that is America, however, plenty of Jews have always gotten into the Christmas spirit full force. Besides classic Christmas albums having been recorded by Jewish singers like Barbara Streisand, Neil Diamond and Carole King, some of the most famous Christmas songs have been written by Jews, including "White Christmas," "Let It Snow," "Santa Baby," "I'll Be Home for Christmas," "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)", "Silver Bells," and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer."

Adam Sandler, who explained that he grew up feeling left out of the holiday because there were no real songs about the Jewish counterpart to Christmas, Chanukah, changed that in 1994 when he did his first version of the "Chanukah Song."

In the tune, Sandler, in his unique comedic style, reels off a list of some really famous people that most fans didn't know are actually Jewish, including iconic celebrities ranging from Kirk Douglas to The Beastie Boys to The Three Stooges. The song has since become a holiday staple and still plays everywhere, right alongside all the Christmas classics.

Since then, Sandler has updated the song several times with new lyrics to include the latest figures from popular culture, both real and fictional. Now, he has released a fourth revision, just in time for the 2015 holiday, which he has uploaded to his Happy Madison YouTube page.

Sandler chants an impressive new list of some of today's most famous celebrities, including Drake, Adam Levine, Seth Rogen,Scarlet Johansson Jake Gylenhall, Marvel Comic legend Stan Lee, and, especially for tech geeks, Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin. He also laments the fact that disgraced former Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle is a Jew, but jokingly notes that high profile celebrity psychiatrist Dr. Drew is also one, and "can fix him."
