Hollywood has been so busy in lately with new A-list parents like Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling with their daughter Esmeralda, as well as Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel with baby Silas. The gossip news industry has been buzzing about these couple's adorable offspring when Disney's Princess Mia Thermopolis or rather, Oscar winning actress Anne Hathaway just surprised everyone with news of her own pregnancy.

You read that right, Anne Hathaway and producer husband Adam Shulman are reportedly expecting their first child and they couldn't be more excited about becoming parents. The actress has always been vocal about her eagerness to become a mother especially after having marrying her husband in 2012. "I'm the only one here who's not a mother. I hope to join the ranks soon" Hathaway said in a roundtable interview with other female stars in 2012. The anticipated pregnancy was merely a speculation but this week, sources confirmed the news. "Anne is in her second trimester and feeling great!" the source said.

Rumors of the pregnancy started going around during the London premiere of her movie "The Intern" last September. Earlier this week, though, the A-list actress was spotted with more obvious signs of a baby bump while strolling around Beverly Hills with her husband.

"The Princess Diaries" and "The Dark Knight Rises" star has described how she has been excited waiting for the opportunity to be a mother in an interview with Vogue in 2013. "I want to be a mother, and I anticipate loving my children quite fiercely. I think about it all the time," she says in the interview.

We can only imagine how delighted Hathaway and Shulman were when they first discovered the pregnancy. They'll be awesome parents for sure. Congratulations to the couple!

You can see Anne Hathaway as the White Queen again when "Though the Looking Glass" reaches cinemas in May 2016.
