This is no joke, and it is also not a dream, nor an alternative universe. What you're looking at is the Darth Car, a vehicle based on Darth Vader, the might Sith Lord who was chosen to bring balance to the Force.

This black and beautiful Darth Car is designed by Hot Wheels, and is expected to find its way to this year's Comic-Con. Folks might be wondering why Disney teamed up with Hot Wheels to bring the Darth Car to life. Well, there's a new Star Wars movie in production right now, and what better way to help promote the film than with a car made with the dark side of the Force in mind.

From what we've come to understand, the Darth Car is powered by an LS3 V8 with 562 horsepower, and uses a carbon fiber nose section. The speed of the car is similar to the entry level Lamborghini LP570-4 Squadra Corse, which should give users an idea of what they are dealing with here.

While there's no possible way right now to own this car, interested parties can look into purchasing the toy version. The Darth Car in toy form is expected to cost $40, and comes with a case that resembles Darth Vader's red lightsaber.

We won't lie; the Darth Car looks impressive, and we wouldn't mind owning one. However, it is likely no one would get a chance to drive let alone own this beast of a car. Maybe in a few years Disney will put it up for auction.

Disney at San Diego Comic-Con

Disney's presence at this year's Comic-Con in San Diego is expected to be a big one. Fans are hoping the company will speak of the new Star Wars film in production, and a new cartoon series. Furthermore, Disney is expected to showcase several things pertaining to Marvel. Chances are; fans should see something related to Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Other Marvel properties likely to make a showing include Guardians of The Galaxy, Daredevil, Agents of Shield, and a possible announcement of a new character in the form of Black Panther. We've been hearing a lot about the character, and the way things are going for Marvel, we wouldn't second guess it.
