The rivalry between Superman and Batman is even more apparent in the new trailer of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." It's only a 49-second sneak peek since the full new trailer will be unveiled during "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Dec. 2, but the clip already sets the viewer up to meet a dark and angry Kryptonian.

The exclusive footage begins with a masked Batman gaining consciousness only to find himself tied up alongside a couple of other men we can only assume to be thugs at this point. Superman lands on the opening at the other end of the hall, sending dust and sand flying as armored individuals standing on either side of the path kneel before the Man of Steel walking over to his prisoners.

Of course, he walks straight to the tied-up caped crusader who seems to have become a little fazed at the close proximity, knowing full well what Superman can do. Without even saying a word, Superman unmasks Batman to reveal Bruce Wayne. No words were exchanged, but tension rose and jaws clenched. Kal-El, who is supposed to be an icon of light and heroism - a savior - grows furious and even the cramped bunker where he keeps his prisoners adds to his new dark character. We dare say that Superman can even channel a better villain with the way he unmasked Batman.

Bruce may be chained up, but the look of anger on his face after Superman revealed his face certainly shows that he won't be backing down from a fight once he is able to free himself. Even without super human powers, he surely won't make it easy for Superman to win.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will fight its way into theaters with Wonder Woman in March 2016.
