After an episode of icy, homicidal holiday cheer with none other than the Trickster (Mark Hamill) teaming up with the Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre), The Flash will be taking its midseason break. But Flash fans look like they'll have plenty to anticipate when the show does return, and according to the promo for the sophomore season's tenth episode, titled "Potential Energy," the New Year will bring some new truths -- if supervillain Zoom will let the superhero or the woman he loves survive that long to reveal them.

Right now, the only synopsis for "Potential Energy" the CW has released is an ominous, single phrase ("A moment of truth a minute too late"). According to the promo, it looks like Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) has plans to finally reveal to Patty (Shantel VanSanten) everything about his his super-speedster identity -- until Zoom takes her hostage.

The Flash will return to the CW on Jan. 19, and will continue to air on Tuesdays at 8PM EST.
