DJI, one of the most recognized names in the world when it comes to making high-performing drones, now launches its first flagship retail store in Shenzhen, China.

The building, which measures 8,500 square feet in size, is nestled in OCT Harbour and boasts a breathtaking waterfront view while being surrounded by the city's glowing tourism, ecology and commerce. It exudes the elegance of an art gallery while keeping some level of mystery with its odd shape.

Apart from the building's unique structure, it features a number of highlights for consumers and guests. These include the theater, the SkyPixel Around the World section, the flight area, the lounge area and the repair counter.

As the name implies, the theater is where visitors can have an immersive visual experience by seeing stories that are captured from the sky.

SkyPixel Around the World offers photos and video stories gathered by aerial fans from the Skypixel community which visitors can explore.

The flight area is where visitors can witness live demos of trained DJI pilots which can also be viewed from a LED display.

The store also offers a lounge area so visitors can take a seat and relax as they learn more about the company's latest products through the staff.

The repair counter is focused on providing technical assistance by the company's customer-support personnel. It will also be an area designed for providing assistance with firmware updates and where customers can be attended to for a drop-off repair.

"The DJI flagship experience is an important touchpoint to connect people with our cutting-edge technology and get a sneak peek into the future," said Frank Wang, founder and CEO of DJI. "Whether you are curious to learn how to fly or a professional looking for the latest aerial imaging technology to create your next big idea, the flagship store will provide you with the opportunity to really experience the DJI brand up close and in person. More importantly, it will allow us to engage our customers in a deeper and more meaningful way."

Some of the products that the store will put on display for its customers include Matrice 100, the Inspire 1 series, Phantom 3 series, Spreading Wings series, the Ronin camera line and Osmo, the company's latest 4K handheld camera.

The new DJI flagship retail store is open from 10:00 to 22:00 on Sundays through Thursdays and from 10:00 to 22:30 on Fridays and Saturdays.
