An update to Batman: Arkham Knight now allows players to unlock a new Batsuit by completing the game at 240 percent.

The new costume, otherwise known as the "Batsuit v8.05 - Prestige Edition," was recently launched along with a December update on the game. It sports a golden bat on the chest part of the Arkham Knight Batsuit and has many wondering how they can get it.

Players have always been able to unlock a number of Batman: Arkham Knight costumes in the past. They can opt to play as the Batman from the 60s or 70s era or they can go futuristic with a Batman Beyond suit. There are also multiverse costumes wherein players can enjoy Batman in an anime costume version or in a New 52 concept.

In order to unlock these costumes, players need to accomplish certain requirements. Other times they need to purchase downloadable contents.

This time around, there's no purchase involved in order to unlock the new Batsuit. Players only have to complete the game at 240 percent.

Such percentage means that players would have to complete the game at least twice in order to reach 200 percent. Players should remember to use the New Game + option when playing the game the second time around.

To achieve the remaining 40 percent of the total needed percentage, players should be able to purchase the Seasons of Infamy expansion which came with the recent December DLC release.

The latest expansion was teased in a new trailer showcasing the content that players can expect from the release. Highlights include four new missions which will involve a new set of villains from the game's "Most Wanted" list.

"Wonderland" features the deranged Mad Hatter who tried to provoke the Dark Knight into a final duel by kidnapping two of the prominent characters of Gotham City.

"In From the Cold" focuses on Mister Freeze's mission to rescue his wife Nora while blaming Batman for dragging him and his wife into the Dark Knight's anti-supervillains crusade.

"Beneath the Surface" showcases the newly established operations base of Killer Croc which he has built out of an airship wreckage.

Lastly, "Shadow War" highlights the Dark Knight's confrontation against the League of Assassins and all the followers of ancient supervillain Ra's al Ghul whose body had been retrieved secretly.

PC users, however, have a different method for unlocking the new costume. By simply scouring at the game data and doing a little code manipulating trick, players can use the costume at any time possible.

In other words, PC users have no need to reach the required 240 percent game completion.

As for console users, they simply have to unlock by spending more time playing the game.
