A company called Caseco has launched a new Bluetooth-enabled beanie that can be used for music and phone calls.

The beanie is called the Waterproof Blu-Toque, and, as the name suggests, the audio module in the beanie is waterproof, so if it rains, there's no need to worry.

The beanie is the successor of the original Blu-Toque, which had many of the same features as the new one, but wasn't waterproof. It is available in diffferent unisex styles, including a snug fit, loose and slouchy fit, with or without pompoms and visors and even a reflective style that glows in the dark.

Waterproof Blu-Toque "comes with built-in earphones that protect you from the cold while allowing you to enjoy your music or take a call on your phone," said Caseco CEO Jay Rahman. "And now with our Waterproof Blu-Toque, not even a rainy day will interrupt the users' experience."

One of the big advantages to the beanie is that it is completely wire-free, and works with all iOS and Android-based phones. The speakers themselves are made from a durable plastic, and have built-in tactile rubber buttons. Not only that, but the speaker can be removed simply by unzipping a pouch built into the beanie.

The Blu-Toque also has a status light, meaning that users can know what's happening when they're not wearing it. Red means that the device is charging, blue flashes means that its on, and red and blue alternating pulses means that it's pairing with the phone.

Check out the video below showing off both the beanie, and some people dancing.
