There's plenty of hype about the new reversible USB-C connector, which means users no longer have to figure out which way to connect their phone. If you have an older phone, however, you're out of luck.

Well, you were out of luck. Silverstone has just announced the Micro B plug, a connector that can be plugged into a micro-USB plug in any direction. That gives even owners of older phones the ability to not have to worry about which direction the USB is being plugged in.

Silverstone didn't just implement a reversible Micro B plug, however. It also integrated a reversible USB-A plug on the other side of the cable. USB-A is the type of USB plug that your computer probably has.

If you're an iPhone user, don't worry, you haven't been forgotten. Silverstone is also producing the CPU03, which has an Apple Lightning connector on one end that is obviously already reversible, and the reversible USB-A port on the other end.

Of course, there's a number in the middle there we're forgetting. The CPU02 will have a Micro B reversible plug on one end with a USB-A port on the other end, but that USB-A port will be convertible into another Micro B plug. This cable is aimed toward connecting two devices together.

Each of the three cables are one meter in length, and they come in silver, white, gold or gray. They also support high-speed charging rates.

The cables will be available in the U.S. within the next month, and pricing is yet to be announced.
