Call it technology fit for Kings.

On Thursday, the Sacramento Kings announced, in partnership with Panasonic, that it will have the NBA's first-ever 4K ultra HD center-hung video board premiering at their new home, the Golden 1 Center, when it opens this October for the 2016-17 season and beyond.

Stretching 84 feet in length, nearly extending baseline to baseline over the court, the video board will tout the largest screens in the league — not to mention, it's over seven times bigger than the Kings' current video board at Sleep Train Arena. The new board's two sideline screens will be over five times larger than screens currently in use as well.

In addition, the new 4K ultra HD video board will feature over 32 million pixels across its four screens, giving Kings' fans a pristine view of the game regardless of where they're seated in the new Golden 1 Center. It also touts immediate replays in 4K ultra HD as well.

"Our partnership with Panasonic will revolutionize how fans consume the game — giving them an unmatched viewing experience from the moment they walk into Golden 1 Center," Kings owner and chairman Vivek Ranadive said in a press release statement, as posted on NBA.com. "We are proud to deliver the world's latest technology and provide a transformative experience to the best fans in the NBA."

The massive video board will be accompanied by 600-plus HD video displays located throughout the new Golden 1 Center's concourses, clubs and suites, keeping fans' eyes on the game at all times.

The board only bolsters the reported claim that the Golden 1 Center will be the fastest and most-connected indoor sports and entertainment venues in the world — able to handle over 500,000 Snapchat posts per second — when it opens this October.

It helps that the Kings are at least competing hard, despite their 18-23 record, and feature arguably the best center in basketball in DeMarcus Cousins.
