Back in October, just about a week before the release of the James Bond film Spectre, it was announced that one Aston Martin DB10 from the movie will hit the auction block.

Three months later and the dynamic sports coupe is expected to fetch about $2.1 million at Christie's live auction house on February 18.

Reportedly, eight of the 10 DB10s used in the filming of Spectre were modified, but two were held back for display purposes only — this being one of them. This particular DB10 also includes an autographed plaque by Bond — James, Bond — himself, Daniel Craig, having also been displayed at the world premiere of the movie at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Despite the heavy cash that it will take to purchase the roaring 4.7-liter, V8 engine vehicle, the buyer shouldn't expect to drive it home from Christie's. That's because, the car reportedly doesn't have the road certifications needed to hit the drive it. So, in other words, the car that was displayed ... will remain displayed.

Still, Aston Martin has been synonymous with the Bond series and there's no denying how exhilarating the DB10 is in all its revved-up glory ... so, it's something to think about for those who have plush bank accounts.

The DB10 won't be the only item from Spectre hitting the auction block next month, either.

The Omega Seamaster 300 watch worn by Craig will also be available as part of the live auction, while the Tom Ford 'Snowdon' sunglasses worn by 007 and the laptop used by Q (played by Ben Whishshaw) will be available via Christie's online leg of the auction as well.
