Players can now explore an interactive map of The Division's anarchy filled version of New York City, one filled with details about the game's world, developer insights and more.

Much like the interactive Google Map for Destiny (a game that has The Division has often been compared to), this map of New York City lets players get a 360-degree, ground level view of many environments from the game. In each area are a number of points of interest that can be clicked on to reveal more information. Some of these points of interest reveal more about the world and the various characters and factions within it. For example, the JTF is was formed from the remnants of government agencies like police, national guard and fire departments.

A number of points of interest explain basics about The Division's gameplay, such as character skills, types of weapons available. There are even some early-game tips, such as one that tells players that "Prioritizing the main missions and the base of operations wing restoration will ensure the fastest level progression and the fastest access to new abilities."

If you're excited for The Division, you'll definitely want to check back in on the map periodically, as Ubisoft says they will continue to update it with new information and locations. The map comes a week before the launch of the game's beta, which weighs in at a whopping 28 GB download. Ubisoft recently confirmed that The Division at launch will be a 1 to 1 recreation of Midtown Manhattan but will not feature outer boroughs of the city. Those may come down the line in the form of DLC.

The Division is scheduled for release on March 8, 2016.
