Last week saw the release of a new Suicide Squad trailer, which pleased not just DC Comics fans who are looking forward to the film, but also fans of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody."

The song choice for that trailer was such a hit that many believed that it should appear in every movie trailer. One fan decided to make that happen, at least for the Lord of the Rings films, and created a trailer that includes not just the song, but the humor and violence seen in the Suicide Squad promo. This gives a whole new meaning to the opening line of the song: "Is this the real life, or is this fantasy?"

The result is often hilarious (especially considering the funny banter that happened in the Lord of the Rings films between Legolas and Gimli) and allows fans of the Lord of the Rings to see a completely different side of the movies.

Meet the Ring Squad:

Lord of the Rings was a film series that ran from 2001 to 2003 by director Peter Jackson, based on the J.R.R. Tolkien novel trilogy. Although the movies were hardly considered comedy, there were some definitively funny moments, although most fans probably recall the drama and hardships endured by the characters instead. This trailer serves to remind fans of the lighter moments of those films.

Meanwhile, Suicide Squad is a funny, over-the-top violent movie with great one-liners from some of the most famous villains to grace DC Comics. For some of these characters, this is their first live-action version, although others are as iconic as Batman himself.

In Suicide Squad, high-ranking government official Amanda Waller has decided to put together a team of the world's best supervillains (and most expendable people) to take on an as-yet-undetermined threat to the world. That threat could come in the form of Joker or Enchantress, but it's likely that the danger is something even bigger and badder than those two.

Suicide Squad premieres in theaters on Aug. 5. The Lord of the Rings series of movies is available on DVD and Blu-ray pretty much everywhere.
