The latest trailer of Tom Clancy's The Division showcases the explosive potential that the skill system of the game contains.

Ubisoft takes viewers through a guide of the skill system, which allows various strategies to fall into place.

Members of The Division will be able to choose from three skill sets: Medical, Technology and Security, each crafted to make enemies' experience a living hell.

The Medical skill comprises everything you need to keep your team alive and kick the bad guys out of New York. Support and tactical info is the place where the Medical skill will be most helpful.

The Technology skill gives you the upper hand by giving you offensive capabilities. The sticky bomb, for example, allows you to launch a bomb that sticks to any surface or hostile. The tactical possibilities of this weapon are inspiring, to say the least.

The Security skills focus on - you guessed it - defense. Having a Ballistic Shield skill allows you to tackle enemies while you leave cover. Seeing how mobility on the battlefield is essential, the shield is an invaluable asset.

What is more, customized mods are available for every skill.

The Medical set, for example, contains a Pulse skill. It normally gives you a pseudo X-Ray vision of living enemies, so you know where they are even if walls stand between you. By using Pulse with the Tactical Scan mod, you can mark hostiles who will take significantly more damage.

Players are able to transform the sticky bomb into a non-lethal flashbang with the help of the eponymous mod. Dazzling enemies while you take them on sounds really fun.

Modding the Ballistic shield skill with Reactive Targeting helps you notice enemies who open fire at you.

The video points out that this mod is particularly useful when you face "higher level threats."

Future players of Tom Clancy's The Division will want to know that the skills and mods work great when combined. At a certain point, you may want to deploy an auto-turret from the Technology skill tree and a ballistic shield from the Security tree to fortify your position.

Those who were lucky enough to play the beta version of the game probably tested some of the possible combinations. Fans of the Tom Clancy title that are waiting for the game to launch may enjoy the tutorial video embedded at the end of this article.

The skill tree in the game can be accessed at your base of operations. Each wing of the base corresponds to a skill tree. This means that if you want to acquire better skills and mods, you will have to upgrade the respective wings of your base. Players will do this by completing Medical, Technology and Security missions, respectively.

The Division's website allows you to unlock four skins, for now. These are: Hunter, Firefighter, Police Officer and Paramedic. Should you be interested in unlocking them, simply enter the site, login to your Uplay account, select your console type and input "AGENTORIGINS" in the code section.

We should mention that unlocking is readily available only for players in America. For gamers overseas, the skins can be unlocked via diverse retailer preorder incentives.

Until the game launches on March 8, here's a full list of details you might want to know about The Division.
