The impact of the tragic death of actor/comedian Robin Williams is still being felt in Hollywood a week later. The death of the beloved comic has cast a shadow over the industry, with an outpouring of love and support from Williams' contemporaries and friends coming in since the news broke. Adding to the tragedy is the fact that Robin Williams still had unfinished work on several films left to do. The fate of these projects is still very much up in the air.

It looks like that one film in particular, titled "Absolutely Anything," was set to have Williams voice a character named Dennis the Dog in the U.K. comedy. Starring in the film is Simon Pegg as well as members of Monty Python. The film focuses on a comparatively normal human being (Pegg) that receives godly powers thanks to extraterrestrial forces. Also in tow is actress Kate Beckinsale and comic actor Rob Riggle, along with British performer Eddie Izzard. In the movie, Pegg's character, Neil Clarke, begins to consult with his dog, voiced by the late Williams.

According to some sources, Williams apparently may not have completed recording his voice over work in the U.K. comedy. It is becoming more and more likely that the filmmakers will have to recast the role as soon as possible.

"I'm not sure Robin had completed doing his voice in the movie," says Pegg. "He was doing the voice of my dog and I hope that he had complete it because it would be a real shame not to have him in it. And of course there will be a degree of sadness there, but the work he did do would have been done with his usual verve and brilliance," according to MTV News.

Lionsgate U.K. didn't confirm the story about Williams' involvement in "Absolutely Anything." Aside from that film, Williams still has three movies that will see the light of day in the coming months: "Merry Friggin' Christmas" with Joel McHale, "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb" with Ben Stiller and "Boulevard," a drama that premiered this year at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Studios are scrambling to make sure that the late Williams is represented in the film, but it appears that the "Absolutely Anything" production may be without the vocal talents of the Oscar winner. The Terry Jones-directed film has not received a release date yet, but this major hiccup in the production could cause an indefinite hold on releasing the movie.
